Communicate

In this documentary about creativity with Legos, I spoke about my experiences with Legos and how the building system has been a benefit to me. I was asked to design and prototype a replica of the "Stompy" robot from Artisans Asylum for filming as well.  

In order to help newer robotics team, I have created a YouTube series that shows the tricks that helped my team become successful. The videos range from showing how to prevent static dropouts to explaining complex mechanical systems.

I was a cast member for the Emmy-winning Design Squad Nation series, starring in four segments, including a set for a nationally-used middle-school curriculum. My own challenge prototypes were used in the programs. This followed an earlier casting in Curious George as both an on-screen part and narrator for interstitials.

Represented Build-it-Yourself at the Constructionism 2014 Conference in Vienna, Austria. I designed a workshop for the conference around the online building dictionary and created two posters showing how the Build-it-Blocks system could be integrated into school curriculums in other countries. I was part of a small team that presented and administered the workshop.
